Angélique Kidjo Announces New Album ‘Hope!!’ Featuring Davido, Ayra Starr, and The Cavemen

Angélique Kidjo announces new album Hope!!, a highly anticipated project featuring Nigerian stars Davido, Ayra Starr, and the highlife duo The Cavemen. The five-time Grammy-winning Beninese singer revealed the release on her Instagram page, describing the album as a deeply personal work five years in the making and dedicated to her late mother, Yvonne.

The forthcoming 14-track album, scheduled for release on April 24, 2026, reflects the message of hope that Kidjo received from her mother, who passed away five years ago. Writing on Instagram, she shared, “She is the one who taught me that every dream I had could be accomplished, that HOPE for a better future is what makes us human. She left us 5 years ago, but her message resonates to this very day.”

Kidjo’s announcement emphasized the collaborative spirit of the album, highlighting contributions from both African and international artists.
